I am incredibly proud to be launching my own construction consultancy and The Unfiltered Female Site Manager blog — a space built on honesty, experience, and real support. This has been my passion project for years, even while working part‑time installing solar on projects across the UK and raising two small children who are both under four. Life is full, busy, and beautifully chaotic, but this work still matters deeply to me.

I want to help everyone in the industry: operatives, subcontractors, document controllers, site managers, contracts managers, PMs, directors, new‑build buyers, and existing homeowners trying to navigate the process. After stepping back from site management to raise my family, I’m returning with even more drive to make a difference. Whether you’re building your first home, working on site, managing a project, or just need guidance, I’m here. I care about helping people feel confident, informed, and empowered at every stage of the construction journey. No fluff, no gatekeeping — just straight‑talking support from someone who’s lived it.

If you want support, you can book a consultation through my services page or call me on +447849 777198. You can email or WhatsApp me photos and your ideas, and I’ll come back with free advice. I’ve worked remotely for the last four years, and wherever you are in the UK — or globally — I can help.

The Unfiltered Female Site Manager

Experience

I have eighteen years of construction experience. I’ve completed my SMSTS and I’m currently working towards my Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management. I launched my construction career in 2008 as an administrator, learning the industry from the ground up. By 2013, I became a qualified site manager after completing my CIOB Level 4 Site Management Qualification.

As a site manager, I led a wide range of projects, including refurbishments, traditional builds, timber frame, steel frame, reinforced concrete structures, flats, houses, and even a power station. My building experience comes from working with councils and major UK residential house builders, and now Tier 1 contactors giving me a deep understanding of how construction operates at every level.

Digitalising the construction industry is where my passion truly lies. With the Build Safety Act 2022 bringing huge changes, I’m genuinely excited to see how the industry evolves. Health and Safety comes first, and future‑proofing homes at the new‑build stage is one of the most important initiatives we’ve ever seen. But the question remains: is anyone truly managing the Golden Thread? If you’re not, my mission is to help you become compliant and protect everyone involved.

Let’s Fix This Together

I'm not here to take sides. I'm here because the system is broken and ignoring it helps no one.

New homes should be built better, inspected properly, and handed over safely. Builders, buyers, and governing bodies all want the same thing: quality, safety, and trust. But somewhere along the line, that’s been lost.

I’m not here to cause waves for the sake of it. I need to cause them so we can ride them out together and put things right.

Transparency Construction exists to hold a mirror up to the industry, to empower buyers, and to help builders do better. I’m pushing for accountability, clear communication, and real change through the Build Safety Act, the Golden Thread, and honest, practical guidance anyone can use.

Whether you're buying your first home, managing a site, own a sub-contractor business and trying to make sense of the mess you're in the right place.
